Situated in the heart of Keswick,
Ashley's Retreat makes an excellent base for those wishing to fell walk,
tour or just relax and enjoy the beauty of the Lake District.
This is a very spacious 1 bed apartment laid out over two
floors which retains some of its Victorian features with
modern furnishings and decor. There is gas central heating
throughout the property and it comprises of the entrance
porch, ground floor lounge with a large bay window, an LCD
Teletext TV, DVD and video player with comfortable seating for four
people including a large sofa bed. Additional heating
is provided by a stove effect,
living flame remote control gas fire. Adjoining the lounge is a well proportioned
dining room with table and chairs for up to four
people.
The fully fitted kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, microwave and a washer dryer.
There is a tiled shower room with electric shower, wash basin and toilet.
Stairs lead down to the lower ground floor bedroom which is very spacious
with a king size
bed,
fitted double wardrobes and bedside units. There is a large built-in cupboard for storage on the
landing and secure rear yard is available for storing bikes
to the rear of the property.
Towels are available on
request at a small charge (£5.00 per week)
